Three channel types: GSM dial-out (barriers, gates and garages with an authorized SIM number — millions of installs across Russia and the CIS), an HTTP webhook with an HMAC signature (Home Assistant, Sputnik, Rubetek, Yandex Alice and any automation with an HTTP API), and WebSocket for DIY controllers (ESP32, Raspberry Pi, access-control systems). You can mix them in a single setup.
When auto-conditions are on (geofence / Wi-Fi / time), the app runs as a foreground service with an icon in the status bar. Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo ROMs aggressively kill such services; the app includes step-by-step help — turn off battery optimization and enable autostart for Entrixy just once.
A guest key is a user_key + K_guest pair inside a QR code or a link. For each object in the key, the owner sets three levels for every automation parameter: own (the guest decides), suggest (the owner recommends), force (the owner locks it in). Plus per-object toggles: video streaming and opening mode. Revoke in one tap.
All sensitive fields (barrier number, coordinates, webhook URL and its secret, camera URL, set of Wi-Fi networks) are encrypted on the owner's device with the K_obj key (AES-256-GCM). Only an encrypted blob ever reaches the server. When the owner shares a key with a guest, K_obj is passed inside an encrypted parcel. The server acts only as a postman; not even the developers can decrypt your data.
Free. No subscriptions, no sign-up, no ads. Entrixy stores neither your numbers nor your geofences — there is nothing to monetize as data-as-a-product. The server infrastructure is minimal: relaying encrypted blobs and push notifications. The project runs on the author's enthusiasm.
