Most barriers, gates and garage openers already understand your phone — you just have not connected it yet. Entrixy turns the phone into the key, without replacing the hardware.
By a call — for barriers you already have
Barriers with a GSM module open on a call from a whitelisted number. Add the number to Entrixy once, and the app places the call for you — automatically or with one tap. Nothing needs to be installed on the barrier itself.
Automatically, when you drive up
Set a location rule and the gate opens by itself as you approach — the phone stays in your pocket. You can also trigger opening by Wi-Fi, time or Bluetooth, and combine these conditions for your scenario.
Over Bluetooth, without the internet
Up close the phone talks to the controller directly over Bluetooth, so opening works even where there is no cellular signal or network.
Share access with guests
Send a guest a single link. They open the barrier from any phone, with no account and no hardware of their own. You can revoke the access at any time.
How to set it up
- Install the Entrixy app on your phone.
- Add an object and enter the barrier's phone number, or connect an online controller.
- Open with one tap — or turn on automatic opening by location.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to replace my barrier?
No. If the barrier has a GSM module and opens on a call, Entrixy works with it as is.
Does it work without the internet?
Opening by call and over Bluetooth works offline. Online controllers and webhooks need a connection.
Is it safe?
Commands and object data are end-to-end encrypted; the server never sees your phone numbers or addresses.
How do guests open the barrier?
You send a link; the guest opens from any phone, without an account or any hardware.
Which barriers are supported?
Any barrier, gate or garage opener with a GSM module, an online controller, a webhook, or a DIY controller such as ESP32 or Raspberry Pi.
